After a hiccup, my third book is up

The Watchman Protocol is available at Barnes & Noble here as of now. Especially set up for those who do all they can to avoid the Amazon machine. And I am grateful to Sulfur Editions for their quick work to correct the error that saw an unedited and incorrectly formatted version published last month. Shit happens. Nobody got hurt. It’s all part of the alternative/micro-publishing world. A first-world problem not worth getting hyped over.

This is about why we do the things we do, in the way we do them.

From the outside, the hierarchy and traditions and rituals that go on inside the stronghold may seem odd, dangerous, even absurd. But inside the walls of that old citadel these are deathly serious things, and though people’s lives are in question, no one ever bothers to ask why it must be this way.

Throw in a military courier who cannot possibly fulfill his mission, a House Matron who knows everyone’s secrets, and a squatter from the village whose reflection is etched into a mirror - which may be a sign he is the answer to the stronghold’s chaos - and you’ve pretty much got the story.
